National Pyjama Day, brought to you by Early Childhood Ireland, is one of the most exciting dates in our members’ diaries each year and is eagerly anticipated by children, families, and settings alike.
Over 65,000 children at 1,300 settings across Ireland participate each year, raising funds to support important projects and charities that support children.
National Pyjama Day has always been more than just cosy pjs and having fun – at its heart, it’s really about children helping children.
A heartfelt thank you to our members for taking part in National Pyjama Day 2026. We are delighted to share that your enthusiasm, creativity, and generosity helped raise €311,252.93 for children and families across Ireland. Almost 56,000 children and educators joining in the fun, your efforts have made a meaningful and lasting impact.

Thanks to our members participation, we can continue delivering our Eco-Emotions project, supporting children to connect with nature and themselves. Contribution also supports LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, helping them provide vital care and family support services.
