This section will give you access to some of the research papers that influenced the thinking behind our Understanding Eco-Emotions survey. These studies provided valuable insights into educator experiences on self-regulation and exploring how young children manage their emotions interact with nature and take part in activities related to sustainability. By using this research, we made sure our survey accurately reflects these aspects of children’s experiences which helps us better understand and support children’s emotional development and active participation in environmental practices in Early Years and School Age Care settings.
