We are delighted to provide you with the latest news on the Eco-Emotions project as we wrap up Year 1 and embark on Year 2 of this enriching journey.
Webinar Series
We have completed four inspiring webinars hosted by international experts, each sparking meaningful discussions and offering valuable insights. Our final webinar is scheduled for February 25, 2025, featuring Dr Louise Porter from Australia. We invite you to join us for this concluding session that promises to be both enlightening and engaging.
Reflective Courses
We have added three new reflective courses to the Learning Hub, available free to our members. Additionally, we are excited to announce that two more courses will be added in 2025, further enriching your learning experience.
Eco-Emotions Project Platform
As you explore the Eco-Emotions platform, we hope you find it to be a rewarding experience. Designed to offer up-to-date information, resources, and opportunities for community interaction, this platform fosters connections among staff and educators from early years and school-age settings, childminders, and families who share our vision of enhancing emotional bonds with the environment. We encourage you to share your thoughts and stories through the Get in Touch form in the banner below—your insights are invaluable as we endeavour to grow our community and enhance our initiatives.
Members Survey
A key component of this initiative has been our member survey, integral to the Eco-Emotions project. We are excited to start Year 2 of this research journey focusing on the findings and key insights from year 1 research. The data collected will help us better understand our members’ expertise and guide the creation of impactful resources aimed at improving self-regulation and sustainability practices, particularly by encouraging children’s active engagement in their learning environments.
Together, let’s continue to foster emotional connections to the environment as we move into Year 2 of the Eco-Emotions project!
